Write to a Concise Drummer

“Omit needless words.  Vigorous writing is concise. A sentence should contain no unnecessary words, a paragraph no unnecessary sentences, for the same reason that a drawing should have no unnecessary lines and a machine no unnecessary parts.”

(William Strunk Jr. and E.B. White)

Each word must support the story line.

Challenge:

Write a 100 word story about what happened when you lost your shoes. (at the dance, at the mall, in the desert, on the ship etc.)
