Kaye has an MFA in creative writing from the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts on Whidbey Island. (National accreditation) In addition, she is a licensed R.N. with a bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Kaye signed with Shelfstealers.com late in 2011 to publish her short story collection Fifty Tales from Ma's Watering Hole. Kaye was born and raised in Australia, has lived all over the world and resides in Gainesville, Florida.
